Met Eireann say that the week will start off wet and windy but fortunately will become more settled.
Tonight they predict: "Rain gradually spreading further into Leinster and Connacht overnight.
"The rain will be heavy at times in the southwest, but mostly light and intermittent elsewhere.
"Winds becoming fresh southeasterly in all areas. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees."
